Business Central Account Manager


Position Overview

As a Business Central Account Manager, you will play a pivotal role in managing key accounts and developing new business opportunities within our existing customer base. This role demands a seasoned account manager with a background in Microsoft Dynamics NAV/Business Central (BC). You will work closely with the wider Ocean Dynamics team and be responsible for managing customers of all sizes, from large corporates to smaller businesses.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain and strengthen relationships with current clients through regular communication, meetings, and on-site visits.
  • Manage complex renewals, wave updates (BC), and daily business-as-usual operations to ensure customer satisfaction and retention.
  • Develop an in-depth understanding of Microsoft licencing and promotions to guide clients through their software procurement process.
  • Build and execute account management plans for each client to achieve targeted sales goals.
  • Collaborate with Independent Software Vendors (ISVs) and manage relationships with add-on providers to ensure seamless integration with Business Central.
  • Identify upgrade and sales opportunities within existing customer base and create detailed opportunity documents.
  • Articulate advanced product features and benefits, product future direction, and overall Microsoft solutions at the C-level.
  • Display commercial awareness, understanding market trends and how they impact clients.


  • Proven experience as an Account Manager, preferably within the Microsoft Dynamics NAV/Business Central sector.
  • Experience in engaging and influencing C-level executives.
  • Strong understanding of Microsoft licensing and promotions.
  • Experience managing large corporate accounts and smaller customers with a demonstrated ability to maintain customer relationships and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Ability to build strong relationships with ISVs and manage day-to-day interactions.
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills.
  • Strong commercial awareness and understanding of market trends.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team and with cross-functional teams.
